Cory, Ethan and Troy went above and beyond to help me with a doorbell issue. I had a Skybell doorbell video camera installed by ADT. Shortly after it was installed the door chime inside would ring incessantly until we disconnected the door chime. We had ADT come out to replace the doorbell video camera and they recommended we change our transformer and our inside door chime. Which we did, but the phantom non-stop ringing continued. I reached out to Nextdoor to find someone to help us with this issue. Troy contacted me the same day I posted and set up an appointment to have his crew take a look. Cory and Ethan did an amazing job troubleshooting the issue and everything tested correctly before they left and the doorbell seemed to be good. A couple of hours later the door chime started dinging non-stop again. I texted Troy the next day and let him know. He said he would work on a solution and a couple of hours later he contacted me and said he found a part that would most likely fix the problem. He just needed to order it and come out to install it and see if it would fix the issue. He came out today and installed the chip and checked everything thoroughly and its fixed!!! He truly went above and beyond for us, to research the problem and find a solution for our possessed doorbell issue. We had ADT and others tell us good luck and to keep replacing things we already replaced. Troy didn't just accept the status quo, and he truly cared about helping us resolve the problem. We needed to add two outlets in our bathrooms. They were on time and messaged an hour ahead they were on their way. Hit the quote exactly even though running the line was more difficult than anticipated, no disruption in power even though they added a breaker and two outlets. Everything works as expected. I did have to patch a hole in the ceiling that was unexpected but not their fault the wire had to be run that way. They cleaned up well after themselves and were out in about two hours. Lots of detail as to why below. --What: They also did a number of types of residential jobs (as our job was residential), including installing security cameras, lighting, and new electrical plugs. --Quoting: Quote was easy, free, and Troy talked me through options for install and took the time to explain how each option may or may not work for us. This instilled a lot of confidence in his knowledge of his craft. --Schedule: pretty easy and quick to get on the schedule, and they came out within 2 weeks of the quote. --Work/Techs: So considerate and quick! I got a head's up text that the workers were X minutes out; they were considerate of our space (took off shoes, cleaned up any mess made before leaving for the day, flexible so we could let the dogs out for bathroom breaks, pretty quiet and minimal interruptions while we worked from home). They completed all of the jobs within 2 days, and did an excellent job. They were also quick to remedy any issues we encountered (like a fan was working the day of install, but the 2nd day it wasn't quite working, so they troubleshooted and fixed it quickly, and it still works great today). --Their price was a bit more than a different quote, but I'm so pleased we went with them-they were worth it! Troy and the guys were a delight and true partners. Why do I think of them as "partners"? They were thinking through the project with me and offering their wisdom and guidance. They did NOT simply follow my punch list. Grateful for that! They also compensated for some of the other trades. As an example they remembered that an outlet was on one wall that was no longer visible. The drywall guys just covered it without exposing it. These guys remembered it after a few weeks and exposed it as it should have been. The plumbers "nudged" an outlet out of their way which caused it to stick out about 1/2". Not good. Yep, Troy's crew fixed that. Not their fault but they helped the project move along by taking care of it. They return phone calls!!!!! They will be the first call I make for my next project. Quick efficient service, meter lug was loosened when pse changed to new meter. Due to age over time it almost created fire. They came out and gave estimate saved us couple of thousand by recommending changing panel on week day.
